“So what can we do about Caruana failing to keep his word to us?”

Dear Gibraltarians,

I hope you are well, in good spirit, and prepared to stand up and be counted.

In a recent VOX opinion poll, 94% of those polled condemned Peter Caruana's intention to fail revealing the details of the proposed Airport Deal before he signs it. It has also been brought to light, that on the 5th February 2002 in the Gibraltar Chronicle, Peter Caruana stated that his government would only enter into two flags three voices talks IF ANY PROPOSALS emerging from these talks would be PUT TO THE PEOPLE OF GIBRALTAR IN REFERENDUM. Also, on the OBSCENE government-controlled and usurped National Day rally at Casemates, with a fence separating the people from the speakers and with policemen everywhere, and with voices of opposition to the CON-stitution prevented from being heard up on stage; which resembled a NAZI rally; the great majority of people rightly BOOED the Fuhrer.

So I'm now wondering if YOU are wondering - what can we do to stop him then? If he will not listen to us? And if he will not keep his word to us? Just let him go ahead and sign it over our heads?

My fellow countrymen, it has become evident he is daring us to DO something about it, because he does not believe we will and can therefore go ahead and ignore the great majority of us, and worse, ignore what is RIGHT that he should do (because the majority is not always right, even though in this case it is) which includes keeping his word to us and holding a referendum for this proposed Airport Deal.

So, I believe those in opposition to the Fuhrer's total disregard for the wishes of the majority and for keeping his word to us, need to come to an agreement of our own, and act on whatever is decided upon. Hence these suggestions:-

1. Peacefully blockade his house to stop him from going to sign the agreement. Forget about blockading the airport and frontier because they will just steal him away on a boat and cross into Spain by sea.

2. Let him go and sign whatever he fancies but prevent him from returning to Gibraltar, or have a citizen's arrest carried out on him if he does return, for breaking his word to us ("thou shalt not lie") and not holding a referendum for this proposal which has emerged from two flags three voices talks. A citizen's arrest would not be needed of course, if the police decide to do the right thing and arrest him in place of we the people. However, in order to do the right thing, they will need to stop being policy-enforcing mercenaries for the politicians in power and remember who they are REALLY meant to be serving. The Governor, the Chief Minister, or we the people?

3. Remove him from office through a trial. Just like Bill Clinton should have been, for lying. Lying and perjury are all the same according to God - But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil (Matthew 5:37).

Because of the nearness of the date on which he intends to sign the agreement, I would logically go for options 2 & 3. As it would be difficult to organise a peaceful blockade of his house in the few days left before he leaves to sign the damned secretive thing.

So for those of you who were wondering what you could do about this, now you have a few options to consider. Me, I'm a peaceful guy, but I remember how Jesus felt He had to physically expel the money-changers from the Temple. Because they simply refused to hearken and do the right thing.

Below is my e-mail address. If there are at least ten of you in this city, willing to actually do something instead of just talk and let the Fuhrer walk all over us, then I will stand with you.

And if you are a believer, don't expect God to do it for you now. When He has made it very clear that we have to get ourselves out of this mess of our own choosing - And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the LORD will not hear you in that day. (1 Samuel 8:18)

They can't put us all in jail. In fact, we know that there are several times over more people in Gibraltar against the signing of the Airport Deal over our heads, than there are policemen. And right is on our side. Hopefully the police will choose to be on the right side, and be patriotic Gibraltarians instead of politicians' mercenaries, but this is not essential. After all, a citizen's arrest is perfectly legal. And The Law belongs to all, not just the police (government POLICy Enforcers - POLICE).

People should not be afraid of their government. GOVERNMENT SHOULD BE AFRAID OF ITS PEOPLE. Looks like this one needs a BIG reminder of this, agreed please? Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

If Gibraltarians (and the rest of the Brit-ish peoples) upheld their only LEGAL Constitution, which is God's Law, then we would not be in this situation. And things would be much simpler. Without licences, and man-made laws designed to benefit the rich and keep the poor, poor. And without all the divisions that political parties cause.

Hoping to hear from you,

Danny Napoli.
